A New Chapter: Payments, Login, Profiles & More Control on FreeCustom.Email

Dishant SinghFebruary 14, 2026

We’ve been working behind the scenes on one of the biggest structural upgrades to FreeCustom.Email. This update focuses on independence, flexibility, and long-term reliability — from how you log in, to how you subscribe, to how the platform is funded and operated.

Here’s everything that’s new.

Moving to Our Own Payment System

Until now, Pro subscriptions were handled through a third-party identity platform. We’ve transitioned to a native payment system built directly into FreeCustom.Email.

Why this matters

  • Faster subscription activation

  • More control over billing and pricing

  • Better reliability and fewer external dependencies

  • Easier upgrades, downgrades, and renewals

Supported Payment Gateways

Available now

  • PayPal

Coming soon (within ~1 week)

  • Paddle (for global card payments and better regional coverage)

This gives us full control over subscriptions — and lets us offer more flexible plans.

New Flexible Subscription Plans

A redesigned subscription modal now lets you choose what fits your usage.

Plans include:

  • Weekly (budget-friendly for short-term use)

  • Monthly

  • Yearly (best value)

  • Occasional promotional offers

Everything is handled inside a dedicated upgrade flow — cleaner, faster, and easier to manage.

Independent Authentication System

We’ve separated authentication from external identity providers and introduced modern login options.

New login methods

  • Google

  • GitHub

This means:

  • Faster sign-in

  • No dependency on external account systems

  • Better reliability for developers and teams

  • Cleaner account management

Your account now belongs fully within the FreeCustom.Email ecosystem.

Redesigned User Profile & Settings

A brand-new Profile Page gives you more visibility and control.

What you can manage

  • Account details

  • Subscription status

  • Usage overview

  • Payment information

  • Inbox preferences

  • Feature settings

We’ve also added homepage customization options, so you can tailor your default experience.

Dedicated Niche Pages

To support specific use cases, we’ve launched specialized pages such as:

  • Temp Mail for Business

  • Temp Mail for Instagram

  • Temp Mail for Twitter

  • Temp Mail for Developers

  • And more targeted workflows

These pages provide optimized guidance and quick access for common scenarios.

Transparent Service Monitoring

You can now check platform health anytime at:

status.freecustom.email

The status page shows:

  • System uptime

  • API health

  • Mail delivery status

  • Incident reports

  • Maintenance updates

Transparency is part of building trust.

Sustainable Growth: Minimal Ads, Community Support

Running a high-speed mail infrastructure isn’t cheap. To keep the core service free:

  • We may show minimal, non-intrusive ads

  • Ads will be removed once server and operational costs are covered through community support

If community support covers infrastructure costs, we aim to keep the experience completely ad-free.

Why This Update Matters

This isn’t just new features — it’s a structural shift.

What’s improved

  • Independent infrastructure

  • Native billing control

  • Flexible pricing

  • Modern authentication

  • Better user control

  • Full transparency

  • Sustainable growth model

FreeCustom.Email is evolving from a simple tool into a fully independent platform designed to scale — without compromising speed, privacy, or accessibility.

What’s Next

  • Paddle integration rollout

  • More payment options

  • Additional customization settings

  • Expanded developer features

  • Continued performance and security upgrades

FreeCustom.Email is now faster, more independent, and built for the long run — with the flexibility to support everyone from casual users to businesses and developers.
